PRONIñO RELIEF PROJECT - 2021

Following Hurricanes Eta and Iota, the Proniño property outside of El Progreso was covered in mud and debris, the driveway was inaccessible, and buildings on the campus were left with 1-3 feet of mud in the interiors. Proniño is a children’s home that provides education, living space, safety and skill building opportunities to children in need. GER³'s team restored access to the property, led mud and debris removal, and cleaned all buildings with a local team.

LA CANAÁN COMMUNITY & HOME DEBRIS REMOVAL PROJECT - 2021

Made possible by the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP), the project focused on community debris removal and household cleaning in La Canaán. Once completed, all streets in the community were cleaned by GER³’s team and residents who had not yet been able to remove mud from their homes were assisted. Most vulnerable families were prioritized to ensure they were able to return to their homes as quickly as possible.
