Thank you to the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles for honoring GER3 with their Outstanding Community Partner Award. We are grateful to have upgraded Camp Mariposa to a higher wildfire resilience – we changed the materials of the structure, but not its heart or purpose. Camp Mariposa is a true community hub in Altadena, where leadership, confidence, and connection are built year after year. As CEO Theresa Edy Kiene shared, this “extraordinary gift restored opportunities and a sense of normalcy for so many girls and volunteers."
