Last month, GER3 partnered with the LA Community Fire Brigade to deliver a Home Ignition Zone training to Altadena residents.

Our training provided residents with actionable steps they could take to harden their homes against wildfires. These tips included creating a 5‑foot defensible perimeter, installing ember‑resistant mesh over vents, and ensuring noncombustible 6-inch vertical clearance around structures. Participants received a complimentary 360° wildfire‑risk assessment from our vendor, Madronus, which provides a tailored roadmap toward home hardening and future IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home certification.
