GER³’s multi-sector project in Ukraine is making strong progress, with essential repairs and upgrades underway across several communities.
Since launching in May, the project has reached a number of important milestones:
- Water system repair kits delivered to three communities, where they are already being used to support essential water infrastructure.
- Repairs to four war-damaged hospitals nearing completion, including roof replacements, bathroom renovations, water system connections, and improvements to make entrances more accessible for people with disabilities.
- Light and medium repairs to damaged homes underway, helping families make their homes safer and more livable.
- Replacement of a water tower completed, restoring an important piece of community infrastructure.
- Solar panel installations underway, helping strengthen access to reliable energy.
Together, these activities are helping communities restore essential services, repair damaged infrastructure, and build greater resilience amid the ongoing impacts of the war.
The GER³ Ukraine team is encouraged by the progress made so far and looks forward to completing the remaining work in the months ahead.
