Our story
After nearly two decades leading and advising disaster responses around the world, Langdon Greenhalgh founded GER³ in 2016 with a clear ambition to improve the way communities are supported after crisis. The organization was created to address persistent gaps between immediate relief and the longer work of recovery and reconstruction, with local priorities at the heart of the response.
Since then, GER³ has responded to major disasters and crises around the world, bringing practical expertise to the moments when communities face some of the greatest barriers to recovery. That founding principle still guides our work today. We listen first, work alongside local communities, and help people return home, regain access to essential services and rebuild their lives with greater resilience.
