Our Board of Directors
Peter Bond is a Founder and Co-Managing Partner at Milestone, a New York–based strategic management consultancy. He brings more than 25 years of financial services experience advising senior leadership teams across the investment banking, asset management, fintech, private equity and non-profit sectors on strategy, mergers and integrations, and target operating model transformation. Peter holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
Wilson D’Souza is a strategic executive leader with extensive experience in technology, product development, and business operations, primarily within the financial services industry. He is the Managing Partner of Reverb Advisors, a Boston-based venture firm focused on early-stage data, AI, and cybersecurity companies. Wilson co-founded Akoya and previously held senior leadership roles at Fidelity Investments, MIT, Merrill Lynch, and PepsiCo, among others.
Michelle Godette is a senior international development leader and executive attorney with more than 28 years of experience leading programs across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. A retired Senior Foreign Service Officer, she served as a USAID Mission Director and Presidential appointee serving as Peace Corps Regional Director for Africa. She currently serves as Deputy General Counsel for the District of Columbia Department of Buildings. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in French/Pre-Law from Howard University, studied at the University of Caen in France, and earned a Juris Doctor from American University.
Langdon Greenhalgh is the President and Founder of GER³ and CEO of Global Emergency Group. A disaster management expert, he has led humanitarian operations worldwide since 1999, including responses to major natural disasters and complex crises. Langdon holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University’s Kennedy School.
Daniel Osorio is the Founder and President of Andean Capital Advisors and a seasoned investor with deep experience in emerging markets. He began his career at Salomon Brothers and later served as a Director in Citi’s Emerging Market Fixed Income division. Daniel also serves on the board of the Ubuntu Pathways and brings extensive regional expertise across Latin America.
Our Senior Leadership
As CEO, John sets the strategic direction for GER³ and leads the partnerships, systems, and teams that underpin its work around the world. John brings more than two decades of leadership experience across emergency response, recovery, and long-term development, with a focus on building organizations that deliver practical, community-centered impact in complex environments. He previously served in senior leadership roles at Mercy Corps across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, led grantmaking for international nonprofits at a philanthropic foundation, and most recently as Chief Executive Officer of The BOMA Project, where he led a period of significant organizational growth and program scale. John has worked extensively with local partners, donors, and governments to support communities affected by disaster and conflict.
Reilly leads GER³’s HQ operations and emergency response capability, strengthening the systems, processes, and partnerships that support effective program delivery across the organization. He brings more than a decade of experience managing complex operations, multi-million-dollar budgets, and participant-centered programs across the nonprofit and private sectors. Reilly previously held program and field leadership roles with GER³ and other international organizations, including work in Guatemala and Zambia. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gonzaga University.
Pete leads safety and security for GER³, helping teams operate effectively in complex and high-risk environments. He brings more than 40 years of experience in crisis response, security, and operational leadership, including seven years as an International Safety and Security Advisor supporting USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance. A retired U.S. Marine Corps Colonel, Pete has worked across 30 countries and holds degrees from the U.S. Naval Academy, University of Saint Mary, and U.S. Army War College.
Daniel leads GER³’s HQ development function, strengthening the organization’s visibility, strategic partnerships, and funding base. He brings more than a decade of experience raising awareness and mobilizing resources for major international humanitarian organizations, translating complex humanitarian needs into compelling cases for support for governments, foundations, corporations, and philanthropic partners. His career spans senior leadership in fundraising, strategic communications, and global advocacy across major humanitarian crises and conflict-affected settings in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
Anna Grace leads GER³’s conflict response in Ukraine, directing operations from Kyiv in a complex and rapidly changing humanitarian environment. Before joining GER³, she supported USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance field monitoring programs, helping strengthen operations, procurement, monitoring frameworks, and evidence-based decision-making for teams working in Ukraine and across several African countries. She brings a strong background in evaluating humanitarian programs, optimizing policies and procedures, and implementing technological solutions. Anna Grace holds degrees in Public Policy & Leadership and Computer Science from the University of Virginia.
Arvin leads GER³’s wildfire recovery and resilience work in Los Angeles, supporting communities through rebuilding and long-term recovery. He brings more than a decade of experience in the fire service, emergency management, and disaster recovery, including leading wildfire recovery programs with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles and serving as a Fire Captain and emergency management director in the Philippines. He holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Disaster Risk and Crisis Management from the Asian Institute of Management.
Nick leads GER³’s Hurricane Melissa response in Jamaica, overseeing recovery and reconstruction programs across affected communities. He previously served as GER³’s Project Manager in The Bahamas, leading housing recovery and reconstruction efforts in Abaco following Hurricane Dorian. With a strong background in construction and project delivery, Nick brings practical experience in post-disaster recovery, field operations, community engagement, and rebuilding safer homes, with a focus on turning community needs into practical recovery solutions.
Brian leads GER³’s earthquake response and early recovery work in Venezuela, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience across humanitarian response, recovery, and development in 18 countries throughout Latin America and Africa. He has led large, complex programs in fragile and disaster-affected settings, managing multidisciplinary teams and partnerships with governments, donors, the private sector, civil society, and local communities. Before joining GER³, Brian held senior leadership roles with Management Systems International/Tetra Tech and Mercy Corps at headquarters, regional, and country levels, with a particular focus on resilience, stabilization, livelihoods, and community recovery.
